When original sin takes a strong hold on the residents of a small southern town, local Reverend, Larry Jack Dotson, reinforces the law of God by "pruning the petals" of known sinners throughout the community. After bringing salvation to a widowed prostitute, Jamie Lowry Caver, Reverend Crawford is soon confronted by Sheriff John Lee Pettimore, Kristopher Bryon Storey, long-time opposer to his judgement governed by God. It is up to Sheriff Pettimore to bring about an end to Reverend Crawford's radical religious cleansing of the wicked, or fall victim to his divine retribution as all the rest before him...
